Alien Buddha is a some what psychedelic image of Buddha, but still embodies all the same strengths and wisdom. The original Buddha who founded Buddhism gained nirvana through the release of all human desires bringing enlightenment. Buddha is also the term given to any one who has reached this state of nirvana, and thus is central to many who follow a path of enlightenment.  Many people believe that the world is devoid of the wisdom needed to lead the masses to enlightenment, and that this wisdom shall come from other worlds that have surpassed our spiritual growth. When viewed in this manner Alien Buddha for many goes from being merely a fun image to something with a little more depth, and for most the two are not mutually exclusive.
