Back drop
The Painting is presented on a
piece of synthetic silk leaving a boarder of approximately 30mm.
The advantage of the back drop is its versatility and portability.
It can be fixed to any surface or used as a throw, packed up easily and
re-hung else ware. Any creases that are picked up along the way and
don't fall out over time can be ironed out using a dry iron on the
reverse side of the painting. As with any water based art work the
most damaging thing is exposure to moisture, followed by continued
exposure to direct sun light which will cause colours to fade over
time. |

Canvas
New Zealand
Only
The art work is identical to
the backdrop but is stretched over and fixed to a 20mm deep pine
frame, which has been glued and pinned. A backing is added to finish
off the product. The painting has no unpainted border with the sides
finished in black. The presentation is more traditional allowing for
the painting to be hung with or without a frame. The environment the
artwork will be displayed in will lend itself to one or other
format, thus making that decision first may make the choice for you.
